The Lagoon 450 S (Sportop) has since been replaced by the Lagoon 46, but it’s still a favorite among budget-conscious charter groups. With its helm station at deck level, the 450 S provides solid visibility and maintains an easy flow between living spaces. It does, however, lack a flybridge that it's sister the Lagoon 450F has. The spacious saloon and cockpit, paired with generous storage and stable cruising performance, make it an ideal option for relaxed sailing. Although the Lagoon 46 offers more modern updates and a bit more performance, the 450 S remains a strong, affordable choice for crews seeking a reliable, comfortable catamaran.
