Description
3 staterooms/2 heads, air conditioning, generator, and underwater lights.
Built by South African boat builders, Robertson and Caine, this boat has a unique, modern design thanks to experienced naval architects Simonis and Voogd. She resembles her predecessors in speed and agility, but her enhancements include an increased volume in the hulls, allowing for additional interior space and an innovative interior design. The Leopard 40 feels much larger and more powerful than other 40 ft model boats.
My Irish Lady has a beautiful galley which is located forward, with the settee and dining area located aft, Large sliding doors between the salon and cockpit, offering amazing, panoramic views. In addition, the galley area includes a large forward-facing window and access door to the forward platform of the boat which makes for a convenient open concept arrangement and easy navigation throughout the public spaces.
The light blonde interior makes for a modern and airy feeling which is accentuated by the subtle color of the upholstery and cabinetry.
This owner's version puts the master suite in the starboard hull with an ample aft berth, a good long desk with a vanity in the middle and a well-proportioned head with a large shower stall forward.
My Irish Lady is a one-of-a-kind yacht in our fleet, so be sure to take advantage of the opportunity to sail this lovely Leopard 40.

Here's what we think about the Leopard 40:
The Leopard 40 is a solid and well-rounded catamaran, designed with ease of use and comfort in mind, especially for charter groups. It features a modern layout with an open-air concept that merges the saloon and cockpit, providing a spacious and airy living area. The forward door to the bow adds convenience and improves ventilation. This model is available in both three and four-cabin versions, making it versatile for different group sizes. The three-cabin option dedicates the entire starboard hull to the owner, which is great for more privacy.
While the Leopard 40 is not known for high-speed performance, it’s built for comfort and ease of handling. Its raised helm offers excellent visibility, and the simple sail controls make it manageable for smaller crews. However, in heavier weather, some sailors have noted that the raised helm can feel somewhat exposed. Compared to newer models like the Leopard 42, the 40 is more compact but remains a strong budget-friendly choice for those who don’t need a flybridge or extra luxury features.
