The Crewed Charter Booking Process: How it Works
Your Seamless Path to Paradise
Booking your crewed yacht charter is more than just a transaction—it’s the beginning of a personalized journey. From reserving your preferred yacht to planning every detail of your trip, our team’s expertise ensures a smooth, stress-free experience.
Step 1: Select Your Yacht
Once you’ve selected your preferred yacht, we’ll place a complimentary 7-day hold on your reservation. This guarantees availability while you finalize travel logistics and decisions. During this time, we’ll draft the Charter Agreement and send it to you for review.
Step 2: Confirm Your Booking
Your reservation becomes official upon completing these steps:
- Signed Charter Agreement: The first step in securing the yacht for your chosen dates.
- Payment of Deposit: If your charter is more than 6 months away, 25% of the charter fee is typically due to confirm the booking. An additional 25% will be due at the 6 month mark. The remaining 50% is usually due 45-60 days prior to the start of your charter.
Step 3: Plan the Perfect Itinerary
Our team goes beyond booking by helping you plan every detail of your adventure. With our first-hand knowledge of the islands, we’ll share insider tips on:
- Hidden Gems: Discover secluded beaches, secret snorkeling spots, and quiet anchorages that only seasoned travelers know.
- Iconic Experiences: From the famous Baths in the BVI to the turquoise lagoons of the Exumas, we’ll guide you to the must-see destinations.
- Tailored Activities: Whether you’re seeking adventure, relaxation, or both, we’ll help craft an itinerary that perfectly suits your group.
Step 4: Final Preparations
As your charter approaches, we’ll guide you through the last steps to ensure everything is ready for your adventure.
-
Guest Preference Sheet: To ensure your crew has everything they need to create your perfect trip, we’ll provide a detailed Guest Preference Sheet well in advance. This important step allows the crew to tailor your experience—from menus and drinks to activities and special requests.
We recommend that guests allow plenty of time to complete this and, if possible, get together as a group to discuss preferences. This ensures everyone’s needs and desires are considered. The completed sheet is typically due 30 days before your charter begins to give the crew adequate time to prepare. - Crew Introduction: One to two weeks before your charter, we’ll arrange a conference call with your crew. This call is a great ice breaker for your group and the crew. You can ask questions, review the preference sheet, and finalize any loose ends such as itinerary details.
