She is a 2020 sailing catamaran with black sails, eight extra powerful underwater lights, 60hp outboard dingy, flexiteak on both the aft and front of the yacht, solar panels, air conditioning, water maker, ice maker, full sized refrigerator, a fully customizable menu, ecofriendly and reef safe toiletries, a bar stocked to guest preference, coffee/espresso machine, rendezvous scuba diving, snorkeling gear, underwater scooters, wakeboard, stand up paddle board, ski tube, 10 ft. floating dock, pool noodles, fishing gear, board and card games, television in the salon, Fusion 3 Bluetooth enabled sound system and Ad Astra giveaways.

Our take: AD ASTRA 5.4

Ad Astra 5.4 is a Bali 5.4 catamaran based at Scrub Island, one of the best charter starting points in the BVI. The layout accommodates up to 10 guests in five queen cabins, maintaining the Bali signature open-space design with a solid foredeck lounge and the signature garage door that seamlessly connects the salon and aft deck. The flybridge provides a good mix of sun and shade, offering a comfortable space to relax while under sail.

The crew brings strong hospitality experience to the charter. Captain Evanne has a background in high-end restaurants and sommelier training, while Chef Stijn has worked in Michelin-starred kitchens and private island estates. Guests can expect high-quality meals and wine pairings that elevate the experience. The yacht is well-equipped with water toys, including underwater scooters, paddleboards, and a floating dock, making it a strong option for groups looking for both relaxation and activity on the water.
