Here's what we think about the Fountaine Pajot Elba 45:
The Fountaine Pajot Elba 45 is a mid-sized catamaran that strikes a great balance between space, comfort, and decent sailing performance, making it a popular choice for charter crews. It’s designed as an upgrade to the Helia 44, offering more living space and improved performance. The Elba 45 features a semi-flybridge "lounge" on the bimini, which keeps the helmstation connected to the cockpit while providing a great space to relax at anchor. This setup avoids the high windage of a full flybridge design but still offers a roomy feel. Keep in mind, however, that the flybridge area is uncovered. If you prefer shade, consider a model like the Lagoon 46. The interior of the Elba 45 design also stands out, with large windows and an open saloon that connects directly to the cockpit for a seamless indoor-outdoor flow.
