Here's what we think about the Bali 5.4:
The Bali 5.4 is a true standout in luxury yacht charters, offering exceptional space and amenities for larger crews. I had the pleasure of sailing one during trips to the Exumas and Antigua, and it quickly became a crew favorite. This catamaran is perfect for groups of 8-12 who want comfort and room to relax. One of the highlights is the expansive flybridge, which seamlessly combines the helmstation with a large lounge area. This design keeps the captain in the heart of the action while guests enjoy the views, sunbathing spots, and convenient amenities like a beverage fridge and sink. What sets the Bali 5.4 apart is its open-concept design, particularly the electric garage door that turns the saloon and aft cockpit into one large indoor/outdoor space. The forward cockpit, accessible directly from the galley, is the perfect breakfast spot to enjoy morning views. While the solid foredeck replaces the traditional trampoline, it opens up space for additional berths. In terms of performance, this boat handles well for its size, and although the winds were light on our trips, the self-tacking jib and powerful engines made it easy to sail and motor as needed.
