Our take: MERIDIAN (Formerly PORTFOLIO)

First, the name: she was Portfolio, and she's now Meridian. Same yacht, same crew, new name.

What makes her genuinely interesting is that she isn't just a new hull — she's a new model. Bali only introduced the 5.2 in 2025, and this is a 2027 build of it, so she carries the newest thinking in the range: the up-and-over Bali door that opens the salon straight into the cockpit, a solid foredeck that works as a veranda instead of trampolines, an oversized flybridge, and an aft platform that converts into a beach club. Bali also gave her a real sail plan — a 70-square-meter overlapping genoa and a square-top mainsail, with a code 0 available for light air — so she sails rather than motors between anchorages.

Layout is her other argument. Five cabins, every one with a private ensuite: three queens plus two with a queen and an upper bunk, so she takes up to twelve guests on inquiry. Twelve on a 52-footer is a full house, but for a family group that needs those bunks it's hard value to match at this length. Her tender is a serious one too — a 15-foot Gala with a 70 hp outboard and room for twelve — which changes how far you range from the anchorage. Sea scooter, paddleboards, wakeboard, kneeboard, floating dock, snorkel and fishing gear round it out.

One honest note: her listing photos are stock images of the model. Décor and finishes will vary, and they'll be updated once she's charter ready.

We just spent the most amazing week with Captain Ethan and Chef Danni in the Bahamas. Captain Ethan is professional and very kind. Chef Danni was the BEST Chef we had so far. Her breakfast with eggs wrapped in bacon and the fruit.... her appetizers - meatballs, butternut squash, eggplant and her lunches..... hamburgers, ribs, greek salad, and of course the famous chicken salad. And the Captain and Chef went snorkeling with us. Love that. Great Memories.
