Matt's Take
About the Lagoon 46
The Lagoon 46 is one of my go-to catamarans, perfect for a crew of 8. One of the standout features is the fully covered flybridge, integrated with the helmstation—ideal for both sailing and socializing. I always seek out models with a hardtop bimini, providing much-needed shade and solid handholds for sporty sailing conditions. It strikes a great balance between comfort and performance, with a spacious cockpit and saloon offering seamless indoor/outdoor flow. The self-tacking jib and its aft-positioned mast make handling easier, even for a smaller crew, and it sails comfortably in a variety of conditions.
