Born in Split in May 1988, Marin completed his education in tourism and hotel management before gaining extensive experience working in his family’s hospitality business. Growing up with a strong connection to the sea, he naturally combined his passion for hospitality and maritime life by entering the nautical tourism industry three years ago with his first boat.
Known for his professionalism and guest-focused approach, Marin quickly earned recognition for delivering outstanding service on board, consistently receiving top guest feedback. Seeking a more personal and high-quality experience beyond large-scale charter operations, he chose to pursue a more refined vision. This led him to acquire Cataleya, where he is dedicated to creating memorable and authentic
experiences for his guests.
Marin is a warm, outgoing, and attentive host who takes pride in ensuring every guest feels welcome and well cared for. He speaks English and has a working knowledge of German and Italian.
Rikardo Crnić, born on 09 March 1996 in Rijeka, Croatia, is an experienced deckhand with a strong background in yacht operations and guest service. He holds a Master of Engineering degree in Safety (mag. ing. sec.), specializing in Fire Protection, and previously completed his education as an Ecology and Chemistry Technician at the School of Natural Sciences in Rijeka. He is a native Croatian speaker and fluent in English (C1).
He has five seasons of experience as a skipper on monohull sailing boats, managing 7-day tours and full vessel operations, along with one season as a speedboat skipper for a private owner. His yacht experience includes a season and winter maintenance period on a 29m private motor yacht, as well as two seasons on the charter yacht Cataleya as a deckhand/steward, where he combined deck duties with guest service.
Rikardo is reliable, adaptable, and skilled in vessel handling, maintenance, and teamwork, with a strong safety awareness. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, snorkeling, freediving, and fishing.
Toma Pavlović was born in Split, Croatia on 05 September 2000 in a familt with a strong maritime. Working at sea is his long-term career goal. After completed Maritime School in Split as a Deck Cadet and graduated from the Faculty of Maritime Studies, University of Split as a Nautical Engineer Toma gained sea experience as a Deck Cadet with NYK company.
Toma is communicative, team-oriented, and enjoy sports such as football and tennis. He is fluent in English and Croatian.
Born on 6 February 1993 in Iligan City, Philippines, MJ is a versatile, reliable, and service-oriented professional with diverse experience in hospitality, customer service, quality assurance, and retail. She brings strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, team-based environments.
She completed high school at Iligan City National High School. MJ further pursued her education at Iligan Computer Institute, where she studied Visual Graphic Design, and at Cebu Technological University, earning a Bachelor of Industrial Technology majoring in Automotive.
MJ is fluent in Filipino and English, with basic knowledge of Croatian. Her professional experience includes roles as a Teller/Purser at Archipelago Ferries Corporation, Quality Assurance at Monde Nissin Corporation, and various positions in hospitality at Shakey’s Pizza Parlor Restaurant, as well as Supervisor at Camiluz Enterprises and Sales Attendant/Cashier at Ribola d.o.o. in Split.
In her free time, MJ enjoys recording songs and playing guitar, watching movies, reading motivational books to support personal growth, traveling to new places, and has a strong interest in trying skydiving.
Born on 17 December 1997 in Sariaya, Quezon, Philippines, Jaycell is a professional, enthusiastic, and highly adaptable hostess with a strong foundation in hospitality, administration, and guest service. She completed high school at St. Joseph’s Academy in Sariaya, Quezon, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Major in Human Resource Development Management) at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation in Candelaria, Quezon. Jaycell speaks Filipino and English fluently, with basic proficiency in Croatian.
Before transitioning to yachting, she worked as Human Resource staff, Internal Auditor, and Department Document Controller at Asia Scopro Optics Co. Inc. in the Philippines—a manufacturer of premium sporting riflescopes for international brands including Vortex and Sig Sauer. She later joined Ribola d.o.o. in Split, where she served as a store cashier and versatile all-around employee.
In her free time, Jaycell enjoys dancing and dance sports, playing volleyball and badminton, target shooting, and traveling abroad to discover new cultures, cuisines, and extraordinary places.
Nemanja Kolarac, born on October 16, 1983, in Belgrade, Serbia, is an experienced and dedicated Chef with over 15 years of professional culinary expertise. He completed his education as a Culinary Technician at the College of Hotel Management in Belgrade and has since built a strong career working as a head chef in numerous restaurants and franchises across the city.
For the past three years, he has been serving as the Chef on board M/Y Cataleya, where he combines his extensive gastronomic knowledge with a passion for creating high-quality dining experiences at sea. Known for his creativity, consistency, and attention to detail, Nemanja brings both professionalism and enthusiasm to every kitchen he leads.
He is fluent in English and, outside of his culinary career, enjoys cycling, origami, and jewelry making.
