Matt's Take
About the Bali 4.3
The Bali 4.3 is an older model in Bali’s lineup, first introduced several years ago. While not the latest, it still holds appeal due to its spacious layout and signature open-plan design, where the saloon and cockpit are connected through a large tilting door, creating a seamless living space. The solid foredeck provides additional lounging areas, trading the trampoline for more usable deck space.
A key feature of the Bali 4.3 is the raised helmstation on the flybridge, which offers excellent visibility and better control when handling the boat under sail or while docking. This design is particularly beneficial for skippers who prefer elevated sightlines for easier maneuvering. While the Bali 4.3 isn’t as fast or performance-oriented as some more recent models, it offers solid stability and comfort, making it a good option for crews who prioritize livability and ease of use over high-speed performance.
