Tropa Description and Charter Summary Information

Built by Cantiere delle Marche, the 106' TROPA is the ultimate blend of rugged explorer capability and refined luxury, a yacht designed for both adventure and indulgence. Her striking profile and purposeful design immediately set the tone for what guests can expect onboard: endless comfort, thoughtful spaces, and the ability to explore even the most remote destinations in style.

The aft deck and extended swim platform form the social heart of the yacht, doubling as a serious sportfishing cockpit or an inviting lounge area perfect for afternoon dips and water toy fun. Wide side decks lead forward, giving guests a seamless connection to every exterior space. Up top, the expansive sundeck is a true retreat, complete with a mosaic-tiled Jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads, a full bar, barbecue setup, and shaded lounge seating ideal for sunset cocktails or relaxed dining under the stars.

Inside, TROPA's interior combines contemporary elegance with warmth and sophistication. Large windows flood the main salon with natural light, highlighting rich wood finishes, custom details, and a spacious open layout that connects a comfortable lounge, formal dining area, and an adaptable galley that can be either open for social interaction or closed for private service.

Accommodations aboard TROPA are exceptionally well-suited for charter, sleeping up to 10 guests in six beautifully appointed cabins. The sky lounge turned full-beam master stateroom on the upper deck enjoys total privacy and panoramic views, while the lower deck offers a VIP stateroom, additional double and twin cabins (one with a Pullman), all with en-suite baths.

From her dual-purpose fishing and leisure cockpit to her luxurious top-deck Jacuzzi and globally capable explorer design, TROPA offers charter guests the rare opportunity to enjoy both adventure and elegance in equal measure. TROPA is perfect for those who want to explore further without sacrificing comfort or style.

CAPTAIN- ENRICO GRASSO- ITALIAN

With over 25 years at sea and a decade of experience as Captain, Enrico has spent his career navigating some of the world's most sought-after cruising grounds, including the eastern and western Mediterranean, South Florida, the U.S. coasts, and the Caribbean. Born in Sicily, Enrico brings a lifetime connection to the water and a genuine passion for yachting to everything he does.

His experience runs deep, from overseeing new-build projects at renowned shipyards like Azimut/Benetti to managing full refits and Med season operations for private motor yachts up to 40 meters. Enrico is known for his hands-on leadership, sharp attention to detail, and calm, capable presence on the bridge, the kind of Captain who makes guests feel instantly at ease.

Fluent in Italian, English, and Spanish, Enrico brings warmth and professionalism to every charter. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and sailing.

CHIEF STEWARDESS- AZUCENA BELTRAN- MEXICAN

Originally from Mexico, Azucena brings a rare blend of hospitality, polish and warmth to every charter. Before yachting, she spent five years as a flight attendant with Aero California, where she mastered the art of five-star service at 30,000 feet. In 2015 she traded the skies for the sea and has now spent more than a decade in yachting, including seven years as Chief Stewardess.

Her career has taken her aboard M/Y Castor III (Azimut 88), M/Y Elisena (Azimut 70'), M/Y Insignia (35m Sunseeker), M/Y Andreika (33m Alpha), M/Y Happy-D (38m Benetti), M/Y Emilia (34m Westport) and most recently M/Y Fifth Season (39m Mangusta), cruising the Bahamas, the Caribbean, the US East Coast and the Mediterranean coasts of Italy, France, Monaco and Spain. Silver service trained and with a background in nursing, she runs a beautiful interior and takes great care of every guest on board.

Fluent in Spanish and English, Azucena loves making guests feel pampered. Off duty, she’s happiest in the kitchen experimenting with new dishes, shaking up creative cocktails, styling table settings and décor, or putting her makeup artist training to use for a special night out.

MATE- WALTER LO CURCIO- ITALY

Born in Italy and raised by the sea, Walter has spent more than 12 years building a career on some of the world’s finest yachts. He started as a deckhand in 2014 aboard M/Y Kinta (55m) and M/Y Ocean Pearl (40m), then worked his way up to Bosun on M/Y H (42m) and M/Y Aviva (68m and 98m). As First Officer, he has served on M/Y H, M/Y Lohanka (40m), M/Y Adamar (38m) and M/Y Blade II (44m), and he has spent recent summers skippering charter catamarans across the Mediterranean.

His travels have taken him through the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, the North Atlantic and all the way across the Pacific to the Sea of Japan. Along the way he has earned his Yacht Master 200GT and a reputation as a calm, safety-first leader who keeps the deck running smoothly and guests smiling.

Fluent in Italian, English and Spanish, Walter makes every guest feel at home. When he’s not on watch, you’ll find him in the water: he loves water sports and is always ready to take guests out on the tender for a day of fun.

ENGINEER – EDGAR RIVERA- MEXICAN

Hailing from Veracruz, Mexico, Edgar is the calm, capable force keeping everything running smoothly below deck. With a degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Tecnológico de México, he spent nine years as a Specialized Service Engineer with MTU, becoming an expert on the very engines that power many of today’s finest yachts. In 2021 he brought that know-how on board full time, and with nearly 15 years in the marine industry, there isn’t much he hasn’t seen or fixed.

As Chief Engineer, Edgar has served aboard M/Y Andreika (32m Alpha), the busy charter yacht M/Y Rylax (35m Azimut), M/Y Emilia (34m Westport) and most recently M/Y Adamar (38m Azimut), a brand-new build where he trained with the Azimut/Benetti Academy. He has spent much of his career cruising the Bahamas and the US coast, and he holds a Chief Engineer license up to 3000 kW along with his RYA Powerboat Level 2.

Fluent in Spanish and English, Edgar is happy to step out of the engine room to help guests enjoy the water. Off duty, you’ll often find him at the helm of the tender, ready to whisk guests off to a secluded beach or their next snorkel spot.
