'Archipel I' is a Power Catamaran, accommodating up to 16 guests, available for crewed charter with a home base in Baltra, Galápagos, Ecuador.

Archipel I Description and Charter Summary Information

Archipel I is the value entry to Oniric's Galápagos fleet — a 27-meter motor catamaran with eight ensuite Ocean View cabins for 16 guests and a crew of nine. Family-style is the operator's own description of her, and it fits: one guide, one group, everybody at the same table.

She's a catamaran, so she rides the inter-island crossings flatter than the mono-hulls, and she's the only boat in the fleet that sells a 3-night itinerary — the pick if you're bolting the Galápagos onto a mainland Ecuador or Peru trip and don't have a full week.

Fixed 3-, 4- and 7-night National Park routes with a naturalist guide, twice-daily landings and snorkeling, kayaks aboard. Taken whole for 16, she's the most affordable way to have a Galápagos expedition boat entirely to your own group.

Our take: Archipel I

Archipel I is the value play and the schedule play. She's the only boat in the fleet selling a 3-night itinerary, which makes her the answer when someone wants the Galápagos bolted onto a mainland Ecuador or Peru trip without surrendering a full week. Catamaran, so she crosses flat; family-style aboard, one guide and one group. At $38,320 for a 3-night buyout she's the cheapest way to have a Galápagos expedition boat entirely to your own people.
