Our take: Sailing Yacht Luna

Luna is the newest yacht I can put in front of you in the Bahamas — a 2026 Bali 5.8 delivering this September, with her calendar opening February 1, 2027. What actually separates her at 58 feet isn't the model year, though: it's five queen cabins. Most crewed catamarans this size run four, so five couples travelling together normally have to jump a full size class, and a much bigger number, just to keep everyone in their own cabin.

Her toy program is heavier than the Bahamas norm too — two underwater scooters, a foil board, a wakeboard, and a floating dock to spend the afternoon on. The honest tradeoff is that she's a first-season yacht: premiere weeks are limited, delivery has to stay on schedule, and there's no charter history to point at yet. If being among the first aboard appeals to you more than it worries you, book early.

EXTENDED CHARTERS (8+ DAYS):
Standard rates are based on 7-day charters. Charters exceeding 7 days are subject to a surcharge that varies by season and duration. Extended bookings reduce the vessel's availability for back-to-back charters, so pricing reflects that opportunity cost. Please inquire directly for custom quotes on trips longer than 7 days.

SLEEP ABOARD:
$2,500 Sleep aboard the night before the charter departs
Guests arrive to the yacht at 5pm. Snacks and welcome drink served, this is not an open bar. Dinner is ashore on clients expense. Continental breakfast provided next morning. Vessel departs by noon at Capitan discretion.
