Here's what we think about the Lagoon 450 F:
The Lagoon 450F is a solid choice for budget-conscious charter crews, and I've personally chartered this model several times. While it has since been replaced by the newer Lagoon 46, the 450F remains a favorite for those looking for a well-rounded and affordable catamaran. One of the highlights of the Lagoon 450F is its covered helmstation, which is integrated with the flybridge. This setup not only provides great visibility for the skipper but also creates a fantastic space for the entire crew to hang out while underway, making it both functional and social.
Compared to newer models, the 450F offers slightly less modern amenities but makes up for it with its spacious layout and reliability. The saloon and cockpit areas are large and well-suited for group charters, and the design still holds up well in terms of comfort and ease of handling. If you're looking for a catamaran that balances space and affordability, the Lagoon 450F remains a great option despite being an older model.
