Where is Jolly Harbour located?
Facilities and Services
- Marina and Boatyard: Jolly Harbour Marina features four full-service concrete piers that can accommodate up to 155 boats, each equipped with metered water, electricity, and onboard Wi-Fi. The boatyard offers secure storage for boats during the hurricane season, including 35 cradles in various sizes and a 75-ton Marine Travelift for haul-out services.
- Provisioning: One of the highlights of Jolly Harbour is the Epicurean Supermarket, one of the best grocery stores on the island. Located within walking distance from the docks, it makes provisioning for your yacht convenient and straightforward. When we visited Jolly Harbour, the convenience of having this supermarket nearby made provisioning a breeze.
- Dining and Entertainment: There are several bars and restaurants within Jolly Harbour. Popular spots include Melini’s, Al Porto, and Castaways, which offer a variety of dining options from casual to fine dining. For a lively atmosphere, visit West Point Bar, or head slightly outside the marina to Miracles for a taste of local cuisine. During our stay, we enjoyed exploring these dining options, which provided plenty of variety and excellent food.
- Additional Amenities: The marina complex also includes a golf course, tennis courts, a gym, and a freshwater swimming pool. These amenities make Jolly Harbour not only a functional marina but also a pleasant place to relax and enjoy your time onshore. The showers and bathrooms were clean and convenient, adding to the overall positive experience.
What to do at Jolly Harbour
- Beach and Water Activities: The beaches around Jolly Harbour are some of the best on the island. You can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing on the pristine sandy shores.
- Deep Bay: A short sail away, Deep Bay offers a scenic and tranquil anchorage with the opportunity to snorkel around the wreck of the Andes, a ship that sank in the bay. It makes for a good first or last night stop before coming into the marina
