Captain Ivan Shapira – S/Y Saramimi

Ivan has dedicated his life to the sea. He began sailing at just eight years old and has since mastered a wide range of vessels — from Optimists and Lasers to catamarans and sailboats of various sizes. With over 20 years of professional maritime experience and an RYA YachtMaster Offshore certification, Ivan has completed ocean crossings connecting several continents.
A passionate sailor and natural teacher, he founded his own sailing school and continues to share his knowledge and love for the sea with every guest on board. Known for his calm and friendly demeanor, he ensures a safe, enjoyable, and engaging atmosphere on the Saramimi catamaran.
Music is his second passion — Ivan sings and plays guitar, often filling the deck with good vibes and songs at sunset.

Elena is the heart of the galley, transforming every meal on board into an unforgettable experience. She cooks to perfection, taking care of every detail with dedication and love. Her style combines flavor, presentation, and balance, always adapting to the guests’ tastes and preferences.
Organized, creative, and highly proactive, Elena brings her passion for gastronomy to every dish, ensuring that every guest feels truly cared for. Her positive energy and personal attention create a warm and welcoming atmosphere on the Saramimi catamaran.
