Claire was born in South Africa, after school she was drawn to the service industry. After running huge night clubs and becoming an alcohol rep she decided she needed to travel the world and realized her love for the service industry would fit perfectly into the yachting industry. She has been in yachting for 15 years and worked on many well known boats. Claire discovered her true love for cooking on yachts whilst working with some of the best chefs in the world. After starting to cook on boats she left the stewardess side and has since been cheffing on charter boats for the last 6 years wowing guests with great flavors and different cuisines from around the world.

Hi! your go-to golden retriever-human hybrid with a passion for the ocean, themed table settings, and making people smile.With a year of whirlwind yachting experience that includes everything from managing a team of stews on a busy charter boating Sydney to crossing the Atlantic on a 92m private yacht (yes, I did stow all the things so they didn’t go flying!), I’ve truly fallen in love with this wild, wonderful world of yachting.I’ve been called the “crew mom” thanks to my nurturing energy, stash of emergency snacks, and constant check-ins to makes sure everyone’s okay. Away from Yachting Adam comes from a large farming background from the rolling hills of centralEngland where he works and competes in many country sports when not working on boats.

“This charter was our best one yet. The boat was kept immaculate and you can tell that the crew takes pride in the boat. Everything was always very neat and tidy which is always a challenge on a boat with a lot of people. Captain Kyle was fantastic and was always up for conversation about what we wanted to do or where we wanted to go and gave his suggestions.The chef….she was fantastic! We are more “simple cuisine” people. She made phenomenal food the entire time and I can assure you that NOBODY went hungry! She quite possibly made the best hamburger and mac and cheese I have ever had in my life for lunch one day when we did a barbeque. Her potstickers were outstanding, the fish was great, the lamb and duck were my favorite and I don’t even really like either one of those things!
We were really there to relax after working long hours for months. I think they caught onto that very quickly! It’s really rare to see a crew who works so well together and they all really did. It was clear they all had specific jobs to do, but the amount of camaraderie and teamwork that I saw on this boat was a step above all others. To us, they were very much in sync, professional, and friendly. They made us feel comfortable from the moment we stepped aboard.

The crew on MY Just Enough was the best we have ever had the pleasure of cruising with!1. Absolutely the most professional in every way while also offering the beat personal touches.
2. Upon arrival we were met by entire crew with a Champagne welcome.
3. Upon arrival All Clothes we perfectly folded and put away in every stateroom for every passenger.
4. Every time we left our rooms they were immediately cleaned and any clothes left were washed and folded.
5. All meals were presented perfectly and stews were most excellent!! Food was better than any other cruise we have experienced.
6. While being absolutely professional in every way the crew also managed to become great friends with us. They participated in every event we did and competed with us in Volleyball went Hiking, played Horseshoes, Deep sea fished, spear fished, etc. Also stayed up late with the kids an played drinking games.
7. They were the most professional and fun group (everyone of them) that we have ever been around.
I highly recommend them and the yacht was immaculate and had all the toys.
