Konstantinos Giris - Captain

Konstantinos born in 1986, developed a deep passion for the sea from an early age, beginning his sailing journey at just seven years old. Over the years, he has evolved into a highly skilled and dedicated sailing professional, with decades of hands-on experience both in competitive and recreational sailing.
His strong racing background includes participation in prestigious international events such as the World Sailing Championships and Pre-Olympic Games. These experiences have shaped his discipline, precision, and ability to perform under pressure—qualities that define his approach on board.
Beyond racing, Konstantinos brings extensive professional experience in yacht operations. He has served as captain on a Lagoon 46 in the demanding waters of Paros and has also been actively involved in coaching aspiring sailors. Additionally, his role as a Marine Charter Coordinator has given him a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of charter management, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Known for his calm and composed character, Konstantinos is a reliable problem-solver who remains focused in all situations, always prioritizing safety, efficiency, and guest comfort.

He holds an educational background in IT and boasts an impressive athletic achievement as a gold medalist in the Tornado Catamaran class. Outside of sailing, he enjoys fishing and table tennis, reflecting both patience and quick reflexes.
Combining technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills, a great sense of humor, and a proactive “can-do” attitude, Konstantinos is committed to delivering safe, enjoyable, and truly memorable experiences on board.

Qualifications: Offshore Sailing Vessel Diploma | GMDSS RO Short range certificate | Speedboat Licence| Basic Safety Training (STCW)| Driving Licence

Languages: Greek | English

Achievements/Interests: Sailing Athlete since 1993, Gold Medalist in Greek Championship (Tornado catamaran), 7th Place in European Championship, 11th Place in World Championship, Fishing, Table Tennis.
