Fosse boasts impressive and extensive experience in the luxury yachting and traditional sailing industry, having captained and crewed on numerous prestigious vessels throughout his career. His career highlights include serving as captain of S/Y WYLDE SWAN, S/V BARK EUROPA , S/Y GLORIA and S/Y HELIOS, as well as taking on relief captain roles for yachts such as S/Y ELENA OF LONDON and S/Y MONDANGO. In addition to his leadership at sea, he teaches at the Naval Academy (EZS) and jumps in the role as (Yard-) Captain during the Commissioning of the new Yachts built by Vitters Shipyard. (S/Y MERAKI and S/Y MAXIMUS, S/Y ALEA.) Currently, he applies his wealth of expertise as captain of the legendary S/Y ATLANTIC, where he has successfully led six charter seasons in the Mediterranean and UK since 2018.
Fosse is responsible for navigation, safety, the overall running and financial management of the vessel, crew and guests. He ensures the safe and efficient operation of the yacht at all times, including compliance with all safety procedures and regulations. He takes care of adhering to flag regulations, port state and local laws and regulations, and manages
the crew to ensure adherence to, and a full understanding of, the vessel’s policies. He provides daily leadership for the crew and encourages team-work, individual growth and personal attention by delegating duties and supervising all crew tasks..

First Mate – Michael Pannone – Australian
Michael is a seasoned sailor with extensive experience in both sailing and motor yachts. He has most recently worked aboard the 65m classic S/Y ATLANTIC as First Mate during the Mediterranean charter season and classic regattas. Prior to that, he served as First Mate on the 35m M/Y KAYCEE, where he was also responsible for engineering duties. He captained his own 12m yacht, SV CALICOBA, on a multi-year voyage from France to Australia, managing over 40 crew along the way. His background also includes chase boat captain and fishing guide roles on M/Y MERCIELAGO. Michael brings a robust skill set in sailing, mechanics, electrics, shipwright work, and crew leadership.
Michael supports the captain in the operation and navigation of the yacht, overseeing deck operations, safety procedures, and maintenance tasks. He coordinates sailing maneuvers, leads the deck crew, and ensures all systems are operating efficiently. With strong communication skills and practical knowledge, he plays a vital role in the smooth and safe functioning of the vessel.

Chief Stewardess - Amarja Koers - Dutch
Amarja is an accomplished Chief Stewardess and Purser with extensive experience on both private and charter yachts ranging from 45M to 67M. She has led the interior teams on prestigious vessels including M/Y MARIA (67M AMELS), S/Y ATHOS (64M schooner), and M/Y LARS (47M explorer yacht). Her roles have encompassed running busy dual-season programs, new owner setups post-refit, high-profile guest trips, and regatta participation such as the St. Barth’s Bucket. She has strong event planning capabilities, proven during multiple high-end guest trips featuring live entertainment and private instructors. Amarja’s earlier yachting career also includes charter experience on S/Y RHEA and S/Y CHRONOS, where she structured interior service protocols and trained junior stews. Prior to yachting, she worked as a biology teacher and managed high-end hospitality operations, adding strong leadership and service acumen to her profile.
Amarja is responsible for the full management of the interior department, including housekeeping, laundry, guest service, and event execution. She creates and maintains inventories, budgets, work schedules, and planned maintenance programs. In her purser capacity, she handles financial administration, guest itinerary preparation, crew logistics, and hiring processes. Amarja provides leadership and mentorship for her team, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction and seamless onboard operations.

Engineer – Pim van Dijk – Dutch
Pim is a skilled engineer with a deep technical background and several years of experience in the maritime sector, particularly aboard traditional sailing vessels. Since 2019, he has served as engineer on tall ships including WYLDE SWAN, NOORDERLICHT, and ARTEMIS. Pim brings a wealth of hands-on knowledge in maintaining and repairing hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, honed through his earlier career in the heavy crane industry with Van Schie B.V. and Mammoet B.V., where he handled complex repairs and international projects.
Pim is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all onboard technical systems. He ensures that all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and safety systems operate smoothly and efficiently. His calm, observant nature and problem-solving mindset make him highly effective in keeping the vessel in optimal condition during voyages and charters.

Josselin is a highly experienced sailor with a strong background in classic and luxury sailing yachts. He has served as Bosun aboard ATLANTIC since 2017, where he has been deeply involved in sailing, charter operations, maneuvering, and ongoing deck and rigging maintenance. His earlier roles include Galley/Deckhand on S/Y GERMANIA NOVA, and OOW on two transatlantic deliveries aboard S/Y STATE OF GRACE, where he also handled deck maintenance and boat show preparation. Josselin has also worked briefly as an engineer on M/Y LADY MONA K and held several deckhand roles aboard various yachts and a ferry during his formative years. His experience spans hands-on rigging, varnish and paint work, safety operations, and guest services.

Quinten is a young but experienced sailor. He has completed a transatlantic crossing as a trainee on the schooner NOORDERLICHT and worked for five months as a deckhand aboard the WYLDE SWAN, including one month focused on vessel maintenance. He has additional sailing experience in the North Sea, Baltic Sea, English Channel, Sea of the Hebrides, and Atlantic Ocean. Quinten also has competitive dinghy sailing experience at national and regional levels and has worked as a dinghy sailing instructor. He has performed daywork on motor yachts in St. Maarten and has experience in anchoring, rigging, tender operations, engineering support, and line splicing.
Quinten assists in the general deck operations of the vessel, including maintenance, sailing maneuvers, rigging, and tendering. He supports guest activities, helps with docking procedures, and contributes to interior management when required. His enthusiasm and broad base of practical skills make him a valuable addition to any crew.

Deck Hand - Jord Bakker - Dutch
Jord is an enthusiastic and reliable deckhand with hands-on experience aboard sailing yachts. He served as a Temporary Deck Hand on SY MERAKI from September to November 2024, where he took responsibility for servicing and cleaning sailing equipment and deck hardware, as well as managing inventories of deck spare parts. He also participated in a crossing aboard SY MERAKI in November 2024, where he was involved in watchkeeping, engine room checks, logbook maintenance, and radar monitoring. In his free time, Jord enjoys playing golf at his local club for relaxation and staying active through paddle.
Jord assists in the general deck operations of the vessel, including maintenance, sailing maneuvers, rigging, and tendering. He supports guest activities, helps with docking procedures, and contributes to interior management when required.

Fanny is an experienced and enthusiastic stewardess with a background in both motor and sailing yachts. She started her work aboard ATLANTIC from March, where she has been involved in guest service, interior and exterior maintenance, and deck work including varnish sanding. Her other yachting experience includes working on M/Y BREEZE (Ferretti 720) across two charter seasons, handling client service, interior detailing, and supporting mooring operations. She also gained experience aboard M/Y WEST FIELD (Riva Virtus 63), and has completed a hands-on training course aboard M/Y SEXY FISH. In addition to yachting, Fanny has worked in hospitality and retail, and brings strong interpersonal and service skills to her roles.
Fanny is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and guest service on board, managing both interior detailing and assisting with deck duties when needed. She handles guest welcoming, service, inventory, and supports the team during mooring and other operations. Her combined hospitality background and maritime knowledge make her a versatile and dependable crew member.

Libby has built a solid foundation in the yachting industry, initially joining M/Y BACHATA QUEEN, a 35m Codecasa classic yacht, as 2nd Stewardess. There, she worked as part of a small crew, preparing the yacht for the season by detailing guest cabins, managing laundry, provisioning, and assisting on deck. She later undertook interior daywork aboard M/Y FABULOUS CHARACTER, a 43m Holland Jachtbouw build, focusing on turning around the main areas and crew accommodations after an Atlantic crossing. Libby’s background in high-end hospitality, including luxury chalet hosting in Courchevel, has also strengthened her capabilities in service, housekeeping, and guest relations.
Libby is responsible for the maintenance of high standards within the interior, including guest service, housekeeping, laundry, and provisioning. She supports the Chief Stewardess or Captain in ensuring the guest experience is seamless, with a strong focus on attention to detail, discretion, and proactive service. She also assists occasionally on deck operations when required.
