Ivan Bohinc
Stjepan Ćesić was born and raised in Split, Croatia. He has 23 years of sailing experience in „optimist“, „laser“, „470“ and large sailing yachts. He won two silver medals at Optimist World Championship.
After faculty of kinesiology he worked as a professional sailing coach for 6 years and spent the last 8 summers skippering across the Adriatic Sea as well as delivered many yachts across Europe.
Ivan Bohinc is a seasoned professional chef with twelve years of experience in hotel and restaurant kitchens. With a background in five-star establishments like Westin in Zagreb, he has honed his skills across various kitchen stations, from breakfast to main dishes and appetizers. Transitioning to the role of chef at "Mašklin i Lata," a fish restaurant, further enriched his culinary expertise. In Austria, he excelled as a chef de partie at Hotel Peternhof, managing a diverse range of tasks including a la carte cooking, preparing main dishes, and overseeing team members. His culinary journey took an adventurous turn when he completed the "Vodan" skipper academy course in Croatia, leading him to become a chef on sailing yachts. Most recently, he showcased his talents as a chef de partie at Zagreb's renowned restaurant "Boban," earning accolades from prestigious guides like Michelin, Gault & Millau, and Falstaff. Throughout his career, he remains dedicated to upholding high standards of food safety and sanitation while ensuring a meticulously organized and clean cooking environment.
Bruna Bućan was born and raised in Croatia, where she developed a deep connection to the sea and the lifestyle it represents. Growing up along the Adriatic coast inspired her appreciation for life on the water and for creating memorable experiences for others.
With a background in tourism, hospitality, and guest service, she brings a warm, professional, and guest-oriented approach to every role. She enjoys working with people and ensuring that every guest feels welcome, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their journey. Her approachable personality, positive attitude, and adaptability allow her to thrive in dynamic onboard environments while maintaining high service standards.
Having spent much of her life involved in sports, Bruna values discipline, teamwork, and resilience—qualities that naturally transfer into her work. Her goal is always to contribute to a seamless and memorable guest experience while fostering harmony and professionalism onboard.
