The forward seating area is a great bonus, especially when you're anchored in a calm bay with sundowners in hand.

Captain Dylan brings serious miles under his belt and a rare blend of technical depth and teaching experience—he’s not just a seasoned skipper, he’s built boats, raced offshore, and taught at yacht clubs. Chef Rebecca balances that with warmth and precision, delivering meals that feel personal but polished. Together, they run a tight ship that doesn’t feel rigid—expect professionalism without stiffness and a relaxed energy that fits the Caribbean perfectly.

As a certified RYA Yachtmaster Offshore, he has captained extensively throughout the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, with a special love for the British Virgin Islands. His in-depth local knowledge of hidden coves, lively beach bars, and peaceful anchorages helps transform a great vacation into an extraordinary one.

Born in Europe and fluent in four languages, Josh effortlessly connects with guests from all walks of life. His calm, approachable demeanor, keen attention to detail, and enthusiasm for the ocean make him a trusted favorite for families, couples, and adventure-seekers alike.

Off the water, Josh is an avid hiker and cultural explorer who lives for the outdoors. He brings that same curiosity and energy into crafting unforgettable itineraries—whether it’s a laid-back beach escape, an active island-hopping adventure, or the perfect blend of both.

Keagan van Blerk – Chef and Stewardess of Crystal Dreams

South African-born Chef Keagan van Blerk is an adventurer at heart, an ocean lover by nature, and a self-taught culinary talent with a passion for global flavors and coastal living. Raised in Pretoria and homeschooled with the freedom to follow her passions, Keagan always knew her life would be shaped by exploration and curiosity.

Her path began with lifeguarding and scuba diving, but it was aboard sailing yachts that she found her true calling—merging her love for the sea with her creativity in the galley. Cooking her way through stunning coastal destinations, she developed a unique style that’s as vibrant and inspiring as the places she visits.

A pivotal moment in Keagan’s culinary journey came during her time in Kenya and Zanzibar. Immersed in the rich culture and spice markets of the region, she discovered a love for bold, aromatic flavor combinations that continue to influence her dishes today.

For the past two years, Keagan has been based in the Caribbean, embracing island life and drawing inspiration from local ingredients, traditions, and people. Her food is more than a meal—it’s a celebration of culture, connection, and story.

With every dish, Keagan brings a fresh, soulful perspective to the table, creating memorable dining experiences that reflect her journey and the joy of life at sea.

Everything on our charter was fabulous!  We will definitely be chartering again.  Everyone fell in love with sailing & the BVI’s-It truly is a magical place.  The highlight of our trip was when we anchored off Necker Island in the most stunningly beautiful bay.  It was so serene & the color of the water was breathtaking.  To be with our loved ones in such a peaceful place felt like heaven.  Some snorkeled some floated on raft, lots of fun conversations... it was pure perfection!

I strongly encourage Keagan to do a cookbook.  She has a lot of amazing recipes from homemade condiments to the fabulous dishes she prepared for us. Shelly, your charter cookbook is still one of my all time favorites & such a fun souvenir.  I so appreciate all your help & expertise, you guys are beyond FaBuLoUS!!!!”
